Dr. Wled Wazni is a neurologist and neurointerventionalist whose practice focuses on stroke and disorders of blood vessels in the brain, neck, and spine. His clinical leadership includes the stroke programs at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach and Glendale Memorial Hospital.
He completed his internship at Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University and neurology residency at Hofstra–North Shore-LIJ. He subsequently completed fellowship training in vascular neurology, neurocritical care, and neuroendovascular surgery at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
His research has included participation in multicenter stroke studies and publications on cerebral aneurysms, stroke, and migraine. In 2025, he and Dr. Osama Zaidat published a case series on MMA embolization for intractable migraine. Those early findings support further research; study results and established treatment options are discussed separately during clinical evaluation. Read the published case series.
